It has been pretty hectic lately. I’ve had to travel long distances again, in a very short time. I have always admired perennial travelers for their resilience and endurance through time zones and up-side-down-right-side-up schedules. How do they do it?
Well, this recent trip was more for work. The side effect is seeing family and some close friends. That made things easier, for sure.
And so, after several days of meetings, plant visits, reports, and then more meetings, I made my way home. It was a long but uneventful flight. Everyone was gracious and not overreaching. There were no screaming babies to feel sorry for. There were no ailing travelers needing emergency medical attention. It was just me, my iPad, and whatever movie offerings were on the screen. Just the way I wanted it to be!
My hubby picked me up at the airport. When we reached home, lo and behold! This is what greeted me:

So very nice. What a colorful welcome.
Your hubby is so thoughtful and yes, loving. Ain’t that wonderful to go home with a sight like this? This is a moment that we all wish to have everyday. A mixture of surprise, excitement, peace and joy. This too is one dream day, “It was just me, my iPad, and whatever movie offerings were on the screen. Just the way I wanted it to be!” best wishes….
Thanks for the followup comment on the education post… Appreciated the clarification.
Have a great weekend!
How sweet! Welcome home,
